Best Advice I have received?

I have received an abundance of good advice and ignored most of it; to say then what is best is only speculative but with the advantage of looking back I know that "Get a good education" has to rank in the very top for just about everyone.

From practical use;
"measure twice (or more) cut once" and think outside the box.

Best Advice I have to offer?
Avoid instant gratification! You will not do that so at least apply the 'measure twice cut once' principal
and give deep thought to any thing that gives you instant gratification and while it may be a bit brutal
"no pain no gain" is a fact of life for most of us.

You will receive a lot of good advise during a lifetime; understand it is the gift it is and use it wisely.
